Jai Prakash Bhai Patel is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He was elected to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Mandu as a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party. Patel is a son of late Tek Lal Mahto.
He left Bharatiya Janata Party and joined Indian National Congress on 20th March 2024, he was first won from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, after his father Tek lal Mahto’s death. And then left Jharkhand Mukti Morcha due to not included in Mantri Mandal by JMM on 10th July 2019.
